26" guillotine paper cutter for sale or trade
I'm deep in shop-move planning and looking to trade out my 26” guillotine for a 23” one. Know anyone selling a 23” one or looking to size up? The one I have is great, it cuts square and true and fat stacks easily. I love the extra leverage of the long handle. But it's a lil’ bigger than I need and given floor plan of new shop space, I need the smaller footprint and storage capacity underneath that comes with a 23” cutter. I'm open to a 19" one also though prefer a 23".
This cutter is a Chandler & Price from 1909. It's on solid wood skids (to be attached with bolts in picture before it gets moved!), footprint of those is 29.5” deep by 34” wide. The opening under the skids fits a narrow pallet jack but not a standard size one. Overall width of the machine is 40” and generous estimate of overall depth (including handle) is 54”. Estimated weight is 750lbs. Has two blades, both sharp, and a bunch of new cutting sticks.
I'm open to a straight across trade for a 23" guillotine in equally great shape, or will sell this one for $900 obo. Located in south Seattle. Easy access for loading, ideal pickup before March 29 but flexible on that. Contact myrna@expedition.press to make an offer!
