Reading “At Some Moment the Confidence Snaps” by June Jordan, from Directed by Desire, Copper Canyon Press.
//
A poem about time and not taking it for granted; about uncertainty and living with it; about being in the present moment.
Thinking about “the memories of my minute” — what they will be, what that are of what I’ve already lived — and wishing some sweet into the moments, inside snaps of breaking confidence included.
